"Born to act." When Theron Parker was 10 years old, he got the role of the Prince in the christmas story "The Nutcracker." It was then that he fell in love with drama. In high school, he had many lead roles in many plays. When he moved to Seattle, Washington after graduation, he had the opportunity to delve deep within himself and that was when he found that acting and art came quite naturally to him. He founded the ASL HOUR in Seattle, WA, and put together several workshops covering different topics such as "How to become a great storyteller" and "Playing with Classifers." He performed for 5 years in "Illusion of ASL," a deaf theater group. For him, ASL storytelling is the most beautiful music imaginable. Because of its natural beauty and expressiveness, he wants to expose ASL to as many generations of deaf children as he can.
Theron first laid his eyes on Mindy at DeafFestival 2002 in Kentucky. After winning her heart during Deaf Way II, they attended Eastern Timberfest and performed together for the first time in a skit. The rest is history.
